Ortiz for Congress

When campaigns don’t have issues on which to campaign, they inevitably resort to personal insults and negative campaigns.  Given this Republican Congress has done practically ZERO legislatively this year – and since they are afraid to make substantive decisions prior to elections for fear that would lead to losing power – they have no choice but to go negative.  Very negative.

Below is a news story detailing the plan.  Over 90% of the money the republicans will spend on advertising for the coming elections will be spent on negative ads. 90% - that’s unprecedented … and will almost certainly accomplish their goal of depressing turnout.

Because … when your ideas stink … and you fear voters are going with the other side, your only winning ploy is to try and disgust voters so much, that they will stay home.

May be a great strategy for republicans… but Democrats have new ideas and a new direction for America.
